Jaw Dropping

One of the main reasons I love basketball is because you get to see immediate reactions of the players on the sidelines. This Thanksgiving I’m truly thankful these guys love the game. Well, maybe not T-Mac, but imagine how great he could have been if he shared Kobe’s dedication to the craft.

Here and Heaven by The Goat Rodeo Sessions

Kasen Rumpf introduced my to Chris Thile in 2010 when he gave me the great cd, “Deciever”. In the year that followed I would continually find myself returning to that cd, and in the winter of 2011 I unknowingly found myself watching him open for Paul Simon. Once I figured out who was on stage I couldn’t contain my excitement, and practically made a scene. The same feeling returned when I stumbled across a compilation of classical and blue-grass artists who go by the name of The Goat Rodeo Sessions. They’ve only created two cds, but both are worthy of the price of admission.
